Whistle Blower is a server monitor and functional testing utility. In addition to standard TCP and Ping network connectivity tests, Whistle Blower can connect to many common server types as a client and verify that they respond correctly.

If your server fails, Whistle Blower can respond at escalating levels based on how long it remains down. Beginning by sending you an email, then a page to your numeric pager or SMS message to your cellphone, and finally, if the server remains down and you have a Master Switch from APC or a PowerKey from Sophisticated circuits, by restarting the server for you.

Whistle Blower keeps you on top of the state of your servers and services so you can get any issues resolved before your users or clients start calling in to see what's the matter

Whistle Blower 3.1 requires at least Mac OS 9.0 when running on classic. If you wish to run Whistle Blower on older Mac hardware 3.0 versions are still available for 8.6 and newer on PPC and 7.6 and newer on 68k Please note that these versions are no longer supported.

Whistle Blower costs $90 USD and can be purchased via secure online connection A "lite" version is available for $49 USD that limits you to 10 servers and disables shift notification features. You can upgrade to the full version at any time.

Is your demo timed out? Whistle Blower has a 45 day timeout but if you need more time to evaluate it or if you need more time to work with the new features please contact me for an extension.

The release version of Whistle Blower seems to be exhibiting a problem for some users after upgrading to MacOSX 10.3. This problem is caused by redrawing problems in the group windows causing the program to use excessive CPU time and tasks to fail due to timeouts. If you notice that the response time of WB is getting to be a problem on your system after a day or so please close your group windows when you're not using them and the problem will go away until I can build an update that addresses this problem.

3.1 is a free ugrade for any licensed user of any previous version of Whistle Blower.
