Brookfield Zoo in Chicago Illinois to produce educational software. To Save A Species uses complex population modeling techniques that allow students to model and manage Humbolt Penguin populations just as the zoo would do for their real populations.

Senior programmer for the web group. Design, develop implement and support oracle database enabled web applications. Manage secure servers and credit card payment systems. Recent projects include the Auto-Mark Online trademark registration system. See Screenshot and the Name Protect Website offering searches through an Oracle database containing all USPTO trademark information.

Created system for translating US GOVERNMENT tapes of Patent/Trademark data into Oracle Database. Work with WindowsNT, IIS, Oracle, Perl, C/C++, VB, Java and Javascript.

Lead Programmer for the Web Integration Technology group. Design, develop and implement intranet applications that allow Media One departments to publish and maintain their data electronically over the corporate WAN. Install, configure, and administer the servers, databases and backbone structures for the internet and intranet systems.

Worked with Solaris, Oracle, Perl, C/C++ and Netscape Server.

Created register and store system level applications for checkout, inventory maintenance, accounting and loss prevention. Performed store level support of registers, and store controller systems for 2200 retail locations. Coordinated company-wide rollout of operating system and hardware upgrades.

Worked with OS/2, WIndowsNT, 4680/90, C/C++/CBasic, MVS, AS400 and Mainframe systems, SCOUnix, Apache server.
